The Twin Cities Jewish Labor Bund
We are a Left-leaning, pro-union, anti-colonialist, anti-Zionist, pro-Indigenous group that organizes the Jewish community around the Bundist values of Doikayt (hereness), Khavershaft (solidarity or "comradery") and Yiddishkeit (Jewishness). Anyone with compatible values wishing to join us (regardless of religious affiliation) may reach out to us via social media, email or text.
We operate out of the Twin Cities of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota, on the unceded land of the Dakota. |
Our Mission Statement:
The Twin Cities Jewish Labor Bund, inspired by the spirit of Yiddishkeit (secular Judaism), will work on popular education about the international Jewish labor bunds' philosophy and history, and collaborate with local justice movements to build political autonomy and empower the working class and disenfranchised within our communities. |
Join Us
We are a light-hearted and welcoming community of likeminded Jewish leftists and we would love for you to attend a meeting (either in-person or via Zoom) so we can work together to build a coalition of pro-peace and pro-labor groups.
Events
In addition to our weekly meetings, we hope to also be a community events page for a variety of local Jewish orgs. Feel free to email or text us with your events and we will add them to our Events calendar!
